This has been fun. We have some chairs, made of wrought iron, which have a sort of knot thing in the backs. In certain lights they cast a really sharp shadow on the wall of the living room. I photographed the iron work and the shadow behind it, then enjoyed a play. I’ve used the image four times, flipping it horizontally and vertically, then using the threshold slider, finishing with a clean up to get rid of the distractions and finally adding a drop shadow to make it look like it is floating above the background. The clean white background appeals to me.
Each week I'll publish a new image as part of a joint Project 52, with my friend in the USA. We both make an image every week, and send them to each other. We are now in the 2nd year of this project. We find it challenging, stimulating and fun. Life should be fun.
