It looks like this Cherry Blossom tree is becoming the most photographed tree in our garden! In New Zealand it is now mid-winter. After a shower of rain overnight the tree sparkled in the early morning sun. From the ground it looked pretty average, the rain drops were lost in the bright sky. But from an upstairs window, photographed with the widest aperture lens I own, the rain drops became gorgeous bright decorations. Dazzling. f1.2, 1/640 sec, ISO 100, not that the technical details add anything to the glorious morning!
Each week I'll publish a new image as part of a joint Project 52, with my friend in the USA. We both make an image every week, and send them to each other. We are now in the 2nd year of this project. We find it challenging, stimulating and fun. Life should be fun.
