My offering for our project this week is a continuation of the exploration of my sewing cupboard. I will do one more next week, before moving on to something else. This week I’ve chosen my silver thimble. It makes hand sewing so much easier and a lot less painful if the fabric is heavy. It was a gift from my grandparents when I was 13. I use it every time I do hand sewing, and always think of them. It is a special item in the sewing cupboard because it holds happy memories.
Each week I'll publish a new image as part of a joint Project 52, with my friend in the USA. We both make an image every week, and send them to each other. We are now in the 2nd year of this project. We find it challenging, stimulating and fun. Life should be fun.
