This week’s image was taken in Waikanae on the way to Rotorua. We stayed in a B&B on the beach and slept to the sound of gentle waves, through the open window. I woke early and watched the sun hitting the top of Kapiti Island. It only took minutes for the sun to reach the sea. I’d like to say that the sun was casting the glow on the pillows in the image, but actually it was the bedside light! The sun would have sounded much better!
Each week I'll publish a new image as part of a joint Project 52, with my friend in the USA. We both make an image every week, and send them to each other. We are now in the 2nd year of this project. We find it challenging, stimulating and fun. Life should be fun.
